Progressive Cavity Pump Grinder Macerator

The grinder macerator is installed on the front of the progressive cavity pump, and is used to grind large pieces into smaller soft and fibrous materials. It can also grind up hard materials such as stone in order to prevent blocks in the pump body, and thus, protect the pump performance and structure.

    Selling point

    The shredder is installed at the front end of the pump, which is used to cut up large soft materials and fibrous materials in the medium, and at the same time can precipitate hard materials such as stones, prevent the pump body from being blocked, and provide good protection for the pump.

    Shredder start-up and maintenance precautions

    • Before starting the pump, the cavity must be filled with water or the corresponding medium to prevent the cutter head and the blade from running dry.
    • Regular oil injection in the sealing cavity to prevent dry operation of the sealing machine, at least once a month is recommended.
    • Regular discharge of slag, for conventional sewage, check and clean at least once every 2 weeks, for fiber, solid content of high media, check and clean once a week.
    • When inspecting the equipment, it is necessary to stop the machine and disconnect the power supply, and set a safety sign next to it.
    • Connect pipes according to the access port marked on the device. If it is connected in the opposite direction, the equipment can be damaged and scrapped in serious cases. When the flow direction of the medium changes, the reducing flange on both sides of the equipment can be rotated 180° at the same time without moving the pump.
    • Keep the butter lubricated between pressing disc springs, check and maintain every three months.
    The reference method for adjusting the compression force between the cutter head and the blade is: face the cutter head, hold the tool holder with both hands at the same time, use the wrist force, and can be easily turned.
